Just joined and looking forward to gathering as much info about Xbows as possible b4 my purchase. I use the term "old newbie", because I used to target shoot with a Wildcat 2 about 16 years ago. technology has changed so much that I feel like a newbie. Also now i have moved to a state that lets you hunt with them. Looking forward to purchasing a xbow and getting into the field with one.

I am some what of a newbie to. I have been researching for some time now. If you can afford a Parker Cyclone, they are said to be nice. The Tornado would be my second choice. The warranty is great and the service for me so far, for I have called and ask some questions, has been great. Then from what I have researched, the Parkers are highly recommended. I ordered my Cyclone today from e-bay and used the pay later option on PayPal. This will allow me to get in some overtime this winter and pay for it. I would highly recommend that you go and put your hands on some of the other brands and feel of them before making up your mind. This is what I did and I am glad I did.
