I have a 2011 Cyclone with the adjustable stock. The stock makes noise and I want to remove so I can figure out how to quiet it down. Does anyone know how to remove without breaking. Thanks

Making it quiet is easy to do. First wrap some duct tape where you want it to be set and slide the stock to that position. Use enough tape so it takes up the space between the two pieces of stock. Then wrap the shank and adjustable portion with Allen's camo cloth tape.

Cossack, that is a nice looking bow. I have heard about the small amount of possible slack in the stalk. Sounds like you have got it figured out. I was thinking of doing the same thing, only with black tape or camo tape. But I might want to move it to accommodate my wife once in a while. My Cyclone should be here around Tuesday or Wednesday next week. Any thing else I need to do to modify it ?

Just like with the AR/M4 platform, to remove the stock from the extension tube pull straight down and hold the lock/adjustment latch while sliding the stock to the rear. The lever and pin will pull straight down further than they do when just pivoting/lifting up the lever. Takes a little bit of effort to hold it back.
Hope that makes sense. If you need me to I might be able to post a few pics. Once you get it off you might be able to shim it with something like teflon or UHMW tape. There really is not that much room but that little bit of play can be very annoying.
This should help!

I finally got my Cyclone by the way of UPS this evening. Started putting everything together around 6 PM. Just now finished. I used black electrical tape to take up the slack in the stock. I took the stalk completely off after seeing where I needed it to stay. I wrapped the flat part of the adjustment notches on the round part of the protruding attachment with the black tape. I pulled the tape and stretched it so that it narrowed and would fit right over the flat notches. I put four wraps on the rear that is smaller in diameter and three wraps on the front part that was larger in diameter. I then replaced the stock. Ii fit very tight, but the electrical tape give enough to let it go forward and then back and lock in the position I needed. Very tight and no problem. No more looseness or rattle.
