I leveled and lined the cross hairs on the scope, with my wife's help. The rings on the scope use metric allen head screws. Also the screws in the quiver attachment are metric. I had the tools but I wished the allen wrenches for these where in the package. I could imagine that several people would not have metric allen wrenches. Still I am very pleased with the illuminated scope. I especially like the lighted rings. Nice ......
I was impressed that all the allen screws that I took out and the ones that where furnished to put the front end on had lock - tite on them. I had already purchased some blue lock - tite and used this also on all the bolts/screws.
The adjustable stock was somewhat loose, so I fixed it. I used black electrical tape. I took the stalk completely off after seeing where I needed it to stay. You can take it completely off by holding pressure up/backwards on the adjusting lever and pulling outward. I wrapped the flat part of the adjustment notches on the round part of the protruding attachment. I pulled the tape and stretched it so that it narrowed and would fit right over the flat notches. I put four wraps on the rear that is smaller in diameter and three wraps on the front part that was larger in diameter. I then replaced the stock. Ii fit very tight, but the electrical tape give enough to let it go forward and then back and lock in the position I needed. Very tight and no problem. No more looseness or rattle. This might be something Parker should work on a bit.
I also added a small leveling bubble to the rear just above the cocking rope valley in the stock. Just behind the scope bell. I can see the level while looking through the scope. This will help me to keep the bow level at the shot. I had to use a round power saw file to file the area just a little to allow the level to sit flat in position. There is a slight bevel there in the stock in that area. I then super glued the small level bubble (about 1/2 inch long) to that spot, while the bow rested with another level across the barrel. This way I could keep the bubble level perfectly lined and level with the rest of the bow/barrel. Why doesn't crossbow manufactures put levels on the bows ? Maybe they do on some other brands. But I have not saw one.
So far I am very pleased and want to shoot the bow first thing in the morning. I plan on taking it outside first for a while so the limbs can get affiliated with the cold temperature before shooting it.
I am very impressed with the camouflage color. It looked somewhat white in all the photos I saw, but it is nice. Looks like Realtree to me. The feel is nice too. This bow really fits me well.
