I've lost three arrows and broke one (20 inch Carbon Express & 1 Thunderhead broadhead) so I went to a bow shop and bought aluminum Easton arrows and two small game field points.  One is just the standard small game head but the other has 4 prong spring loaded wire hooks. Anyone ever used these on squirrel?

If I ply a fox or coyote with the SGH head will it damage the head?

Thanks

These are what I use. You can get them in different weights. Goggle -    bludgeon-small-game-screwin-heads

If the 4 prong with spring is the judo point from zwicky ive used them for small game, stump shootin and for just walking around the feild shooting at clumps of grass or leaves they dont burry themselves. I also have one on a discharge arrow so i dont need to bring a target with me hunting.

We call the four wire judo points "gopher gutters" because thats what happens when you hit a varmint with it. Pulls all kinds of things out from the inside. But, they are deadly and durable. Like Rocky stated, the arrows won't snake under the grass and disappear. They will hook and stand.

SGH are the only small game that holds up to my 145# KE system. I still break of a claw if they hit any stones

Guys how about sighting in with these small game heads. I've yet to see a broadhead shoot exactly like a field point. The broadhead be it fixed or mechanical usually shoot lower and to the right. I use Grim Reapers and sight in with the Grim Reaper practice broadhead.

I shot a squirrel one time with a field point. I was shooting down about 12 yards the arrow went through him into the ground he was able to pull it out and run up a tree with the arrow about half way through him.He went up about 45 feet and died in a nest.I tried everything I could think of to get him down fishing rod, rocks, baseballs you name it it I tried. He and the arrow where intangled in the nest. They were there for over a month and then one day I looked up and they were gone.I never saw either one ever again.I would go with judo points.
