Can someone tell me if they have had the same problem with their cocking rope as I. When I cock the bow (2011 Cyclone Express ), the side of the plastic string hooks are marring the bow on the rail at the trigger end. Sure is discouraging to see this, :startle:  but not to bad yet. Looking at the hooks, you can see that one side of them is molded with a concave to one side for the string. Which way is the concave supposed be turned, toward the rail or toward the cams ? Please help me out here. I called Parker,  :phone: but I don't think they working today. Thank you. Also, if you know, what is the difference in the red hot Parker rope cocker and the regular rope cocker I have, please let me know. I know there is a price difference.
          Thanks everyone. ...... Fuzzy

Yes, I understand that. Thanks anyway. But my concern is the rope cocker marring the side of my bow. I just checked the Parker webb site and it is assembled correctly. But as you can see on their site, they sell the Red Hot Rope Cocker and in the description it says, will not marr the finish of your bow. Well, whoopy dooo, looks like someone would have warned me first or the company should have stopped sending the cheap ones with the bows. Parker will hear from me next week. If I would have known this, I would have purchased the other cocking rope. :thumbsd:  Do not get me wrong, I love this bow, and sure would not have marred the finish if I would have noticed it earlier or known of this problem. OK, Rant Over.......

It is the red hot (Roller) rope cocker. It has rollers that roll along the side of the barrel. They do not mar the crossbow. I would highly recommend one.
