Very good video,

I have the Tac 15i and as I have said, no problems so far.  As for the vane issue, the 3 arrows that came with my Tac, were a little different than the dozen I purchased after.  The new ones had a better glue job and attachment at the lead end of the vane verus the original, and I have not had any issues with the new ones, but did lose a vane on two of the originals during the first couple hundred shots.

I am very satisfied with mine and it looks like your customer service has been super.

Thanks for the comment Schneep.  I think you may have nailed the issue perhaps... the glue job.  I'm thinking TAC may possibly be sub-contracting to at least two differing build units. Common in today's corporate landscape but most corps work super hard in ensuring that Quality is up to exacting standards. I don't expect anything less from such a prominent company.  In the meantime I'll be returning the vanes AND the uppers to PSE for warranty replacement.  I like talking the good and the bad (unbiased) so I've gotta reiterate that my distributor was FAST and courteous in fixing my other issues so far.  :goodjob:

Thanks Deerboy. Been wanting a TAC for a long time, and was undecided to try the TAC10i. Now I'll go with the 15i from Wyverns of course. The only question from your vids is does the 15i upper fit on the 10i? :cigar:
Middleton DTM355 limb powered
Custom Scorpyd Telson 175 (460+fps)
Custom Bowtech SZ 410
Custom 450fps TAC15 coming soon
Custom Middleton DTM 425 coming soon

Light, that custom collection of yours is impressive  :goodjob:

I've been wondering myself if the 15 upper would fit and run on the 10i as well. My educated guess is that it would.  I'm tempted to try it but it would screw up my scope zeros...

BTW I think there are advantages to the 10i:

1) 3 inches shorter than the 15

2) the "i" version is lighter than the option of adding the lower. As you can see in the vid the mag well of an AR15 type "lower" has alot of metal in the magwell area vs the "i" version where there is basically no metal at all.

3) 350 vs 400fps (vs the TAC 15) is PLENTY of hunting power... some might say "overkill"...BUT since you enjoy tinkering I BET you could build a 10i at 400fps or better.

4) Easier on archery targets. Probably not an issue for you but would be for most of us. 5) Not alot of folks have these...I like that.

--Question for ya: What do you use to stop the arrows from your customized setups? 460 FPS is INSANE.    Do you realize that with a Broadhead you're now entering the FPS zone that would add SHOCK (temp or permanent wound cavity) when and if you shoot a deer or hog? That's a whole new dynamic to Archery hunting since we're typically only interested in "cutting" vs "shock" (firearms) to harvest animals.  Fun to think about.

I'm a real clown when it comes to quality Vid Editing... but I do it just well enough to get my ideas across.  Appreciate you watching and enjoying... I'm having a ball in my old age of 40. I feel like a boy of 6 ... only difference is I have a little spending money.  My newest vid will be published on YT in about 3 hrs.

I finished editing "TAC TELSON and Parker Night Shootout".  crazy and surprising results.
