Rage 2 blade in 100 & 125 and also Bass Pro Gators in 100. I have found that they both fly like target points.

I shot a nice 9pt this year at 6yds on the ground with my Excalibur Exomag 100gr 2 blade Rage and it tore him up.  He went only 30yds.  He was slightly quartering toward me, I hit him high right behind the front shoulder and the arrow exited right in front of the hind qtr on the opposite side.  His intestines about the size of a baseball were hanging out the opposite side when I found him.  There was hardly a blood trail, not that I needed one, but his chest cavity was filled with blood when I opened him up.

Filled 2 of my tags this year with Rage 100 grain xbow broadheads. Excellent penetration and pass thru on both deer.  Shot at 23 yds and 33yds - neither made it 44 yds before piling up. My son in law uses the same head in 125 grain. Out of our Kodabow's, impact point is the same regardless of what weight we are shooting.

Oh yeah - forgot to mention - 2 blade heads

Rage broadheads have proved to take lots of wild game. If your shooting a medium to low KE {crossbow 110# and lower} system most have good experiences.

As much I love rage as much they are pain when the blade come out , and u have to keep on eye on that ( specialy before shooting) , i Add rubber band (1/2") to the rear end of the blade..i didn't try it yet but its holding good .

Everyone has thier favorite broadhead. Many that advertize flying like field pts do. Most placed right,,, thru a deer,,, will bring them down in short order. Always that exception though, deer are built tough! My favorite has been the Rocket Sidewinder. They have brought down many deer for me. When expandables first came out, I read about them. I wrote the author of an article that said they were great. He answered me, and said he tested broadheads for a living, shooting them into roadkill. At the time he liked them best. Alot more have come on the market since then. I still use them. They hold up quite well, and you can replace the blades. I have some that have gone thru multiple deer. I like the sharp cutting tip too.

The 2012 design is defiantly an improvement in blade retention and they claim there sharpness is better for 2012 as well

I'm glad some mentioned Grim Reapers with 3 blades, since this is what I recently bought. Haven't tried them yet. They sounded impressive with 3 cutting blades and a chisle type tipe.

Here we have a structrural engineer student doing what he calls the Ultimate Broadhead Tests using Masonite boards for penetration, His tests are not complete yet, by does provide some enlightening information in the three videos he has done so far. For those interested he has three videos out so far and has not concluded with this experiment. He is testing quite a large assortment of broadheads.

Part I:

Part II:
http://www.youtube.c...h?v=xwqekkGFLYM

Part III:

The two blade broadheads provide almost twice the penetration as the 3 blade. The 4 have even less penetration than the 3, but he still needs to calculate out the cutting surfaces into his formula.Sounds to me that the 2 blade may have advantage for very large game animals. He is doing this test to determine the best Elk broahead. No conclusion yet.His tests are done with a compound bow, which would mean with crossbow there would be more penetration, but blade durability could play considerably IMHO. It is surprising how poorly some broadheads hold up in his tests.

Recently shot through both shoulders of a medium sized doe at 20 yds with complete pass through using Grim Reaper 2" whitetail specials.  Devastating.  Found a quarter sized piece of bone chunk in the blood trail.
