My name is Tim and I'm from Corbin, Ky. I just bought my first crossbow about a week ago. I shot it for the first time yesterday evening. I found this sight by chance browsing the internet. I was looking the sight over and really enjoyed the stories and loved then info you guys/gals was offering on the website. So I joined. I'm very new to crossbows. But from what I can tell from shooting mine yesterday. I think I have found my new passion.
I bought a Barnett Panzer V from Wal-Mart. I was a little iffy about it at first. Then I read some of the information given on recurve and compound crossbows. I think I will enjoy my recurve a little more due to the fact i like to move around while hunting. Not to say later on I might go to a compound crossbow. I have a 8 yr old stepson who is wanting to go hunting. That is another reason why I bought the recurve. It was about half the weight of the others.
I think I have rambled enough. I hope I can get to know each and every one on here.
