Good Morning; I am John from western Minnesota. I am have hunted with rifles, shotguns, pistols and compound bows for many, many, years. Due to neck sugery I lost strenght in my right arm about 10 years ago and gave up on bow hunting. I decided to try archery again this fall, but found I could not pull back a 40 lb bow. I got a disability Xbow permit from our DNR and borrowed a Horton Legend SL from a friend and got a nice doe the 1st week of season. Now I am "hooked" I want to buy a Xbow and I can by the Horton from my friend. But there are alot of options out there, I have tried a few at Scheels and other dealers, I like the Horton TRT ultra-lite and the Horton Vision.
Any help or advice will be appreaciated. I have alot to learn about Xbows. I need a Xbow for turkey season.
I like this site!!!!

Welcome to the Crossbow Nation!
Have you checked out the PARKER CONCORDE. Cocks itself. A bit pricey but might work for you.
Happy hunting.

Hi Farmer John
Welcome to the Crossbow Nation and the great world of Crossbow hunting.
It's great to see that you have done what most of us senior archers have to
do to continue in the sport.
If I had have known crossbow shooting was this good I would have started years ago.
