New for 2012, Scorpyd Crossbows will introduce the VENTILATOR!  This amazing crossbow will be available in 100#, 125#, and 150# draw weights, shooting up to 400 fps!  Building on the past success of Reverse Draw Technology, the VENTILATOR utilizes the unique folding butt stock that is so popular with Scorpyd owners, but uses a vented forearm, specifically designed to incorporate a folding detachable bi-pod (optional).  The Ventilator is a more compact version of the existing Scorpyd SLP.  Barnsdale Laminated limbs are still standard.  It is 35 3/4" long, 19 5/8" axle to axle uncocked, 12 7/8" when cocked, and a mass weight of 7.9# without accessories.  It has an 18 1/2" power stroke, and all fasteners will be Torx head TITANIUM.

The Ventilator will be available in all black, or new for 2012, RealTree Hardwoods camo.  It will be available as a Base Kit ($1349.00) which will include the crossbow, String Stops, Scope Rail, and Sled Cocker, or as partial or complete packages.    We will be offering the NEW Hawke Optics 1.5-5 MAP as the standard scope on this bow, and the Hawke 1.5-5 SR, as well as other (to be announced at ATA) scopes will be optional.

We are now taking orders for the Ventilator.  Get your order in early, as there will surely be a waiting list for this crossbow as the year moves forward.  We will start shipping late March to early April.

So this is what Jim is going to call his, lighter, more compact, weather proof, super fast, cream of the crop, 2012 new crossbow.  The Ventilator, how appropriate!  So it is going vent anything that you can legally vent that has a heart beat with,.... LOL

Nice name.  With some Aerobolt 2 or 3.... you are going to able to vent lungs at a VERY LONG DIstance even it is windy!  I am going to make sure Jim got some Aerobolt 2 and 3 in hand so just in case you want that as a package.  I need to do some serious arm twisting... or you can get it all directly fom me..   MOOO money for me..  :goodjob:   Cannot wait to see it in person in Columbus next monday at ATA.

Those titanium screws are going to be nice. At half to 1/4 of the weight each and nowing that NOW MORE RUST... EVER!  Very fitting for ONE of the the best cowbow there is out there!

Jim informed me that this bow will use my Q nock exclusively...   :thumbsu:

Lookin good! Can't wait to see the new camo finish.

I will definitely consider putting in an order for one of these. Seems to be a hunter's dream bow.

Now if you'll excuse me I have to go check the couch cushions for loose change. ;)

Clint,

The new Ventilator is definitely a hunter's dream crossbow. It has it all, speed, smooth trigger, light weight, compact, fast, ADF, quiet and vibration free. I really can't wait to start traveling and hunting with this awesome crossbow. I look forward to talking with you soon.

Best Regards,

Rex

Would any of you guy's be interested in a 150lb  limb upgrade that would give you the same speed as a 165 for $100 more and, save a little weight?     Just  curious?        I already have a 165  and,  I have become used having the extra zip.

Redm2 that's a great deal on some first class merchandise in the classifieds.

You know the more I look at it............ the happier I am I got a refund on that POS BlowTech that cracked up on me instead of another limb popper. Now I know what I'll be putting it towards.
