I would like to hear any feedback from Scorpyd shooters who have lower draw weight Scorpyd xbows. Any difference in noise,accuracy,cable/string life, or trigger pull. I believe a 125 Ventilator at 370fps would handle anything in
North America. Jim always said the Telson 130 was his best all around bow. Any information or suggestions would be greatly app.
THANKS
my 130 is a sweet shooter. Just get the cocking sled. The rope is fine but takes getting used to. check out my vid review on the telson on youtube. search 'darkhorse2reign' ... I don't think you can go wrong at 300 fps to 350 fps. anything more IMO is just luxury and boys (and girls) having loads of fun. There are many quality bows out there... I'm partial to my Telson b/c it was my first really premium xbow. You will be happy I'm sure with whatever choice you make with Scorpyd.
2008 Diamond Black Ice - 29in draw, 70lbs, "no peep", HHA Optimizer Plus = 249 fps with 429 grain arrows
2011 Telson (Scorpyd) 130lb - 19.75in powerstroke, + Hawke SR scope = 390.2 fps with 400 grain arrows
2011 TAC 10i - (vids coming shortly)
2010 TAC 15 (used) - (more vids coming shortly)

That's a good question. I sold my Telson pretty quick for a good sum although it was a good deal. I wouldn't bank on it but you never because the Ventilator is very close in price and it offers a lot more, imo. I think I'd good for business to drop some of his existing models $50-$100, but I don't know all the financials so I'm shooting from the hip with that opinion.

Since it's 2012, maybe we'll all be extinct by then.
I'd rather kill with a crossbow than wound with a compound !

I don't know because I think Jim likes having the speed title... If he got rid of the slp, he'd no longer have the fastest bow. Maybe he'll build another bow just as fast as the 165 or faster?

Actually, I agree with you; I believe the 165 will be replaced by a faster model in the future.
