Howdy All Ya'll, my name is Larry but ya'll can call me "elf"... I'm from Texas County in the Oklahoma Panhandle (AKA "No Man's Land")... I was in the local pawnshop a couple days ago and saw this Hou Shiueh 150# Hunting X-bow... next thing I know I'm walking out the front door with it and a box of Viper prods, after I paid for them of course... haven't shot it yet... wanted to do a little Web-research first... Found this forum... lots of good info and good people... looks like I've found a new home.

dont have any knowledge abot that xbow other than its chinese (which isnt too popular here) just check it out good before ya hold it up to your face.

Welcome aboard. Good to have some more Okies around. Been through your area a couple of times on the way to Hugoton, KS. to phesant hunt. I bought a cheep china crossbow, for my first one, too. With a better scope on it, I think it would have been fine. I got the Excal fever and gave the cheep one to my friend's kid for christmas, and they love it. Him and his boy have been shooting the crap out of it.
