List the items you would to see for 2012 from Parker.

My first Item is a lighted capture nock that fits your arrow without falling out.  I had several regular capture nocks fall right out of.my arrow after the shot. I would also like it to active without moving in the arrow shaft.

The second item is a more affordable youth crossbow that shoots 300 fps.

PHS1990
Parker Tornado
Redhot Arrows
Rage BH

Believe it or not...I'd like to see more 'logo' wear.....Parker sells very little clothing with their name on it....maybe some nice t-shirts/sweatshirts...that sort of thing.....

As far as crossbows go...I'd like to see them offer a recurve model.....like they used to....and offer some of their crossbows in black.....there was a tornado that was available in black (or maybe carbon fiber) when they were introduced......
Team Bone Heads

Parker Tornado

Parker Red Hots

Grim Reaper X-Bow 100 grain Razortips

I asked God to make my handicapped child whole....
God said, "No...her spirit is whole....her body is only temporary"

I agree I would like to see more clothing too.  A carbon Fiber crossbow would we be cool, but I am sure it would be pricey.

I am with you on the lighted capture nock.  I hope Parker listens to that one.  I want to stay with the Parker bolts and nocks to protect my warranty.  But its awful tempting watching those lighted nock videos!

I agree, the regular nocks are nice but could be better. Here is a post that has some good nock information. If I would have known this in time, I would not have ordered from another place and moon nocks. I would have ordered this nock, which you can get with out the battery and light for around $10.00 for 7 . It is the Q style nock for the Parker crossbows.

A side note, we at Firenock had made full containment nocks for the crossbow industries for over a year now. We produce technically every size to fit all bows with various string diameters. The only sad part is that the only shaft that these nock will fit is the shaft with internal diameter of 0.298" to 0.302" ID shaft (gold tip, victory, carbon tech, easton, PSE, beman, etc.), while the red hot is 0.282". Below is all 4 of them for your references. FYI, you do not have to get the circuit or the battery as the nock and circuit are field interchangeable, thus you can indeed shot Firenock plan nock. All Firenock full-containment nock except the V nock are specially design to click solidly to the string to eliminate semi-dry firing due to forward movement of the shaft during load and stalking, and it is also design to fully engage most crossbow's anti-dry-diring systems.

D style to fit 0.166" to 175" Tac 15, TenPoint

J style to fit 0.156" to 165" (Barnett, Horton)
Posted Image
Q style to fit 0.145" to 155" (Scorpyd, Parker)
Posted Image
V style to fit 0.115" to 125" (inline crossbow)

Disclaimer: For those crossbow that their string has downward pressure on the rail decks are not suitable to use full capture nock as this may cause the tip of the arrow to tilt upwards.

If you prefer to use Carbon Express or Parker bolt (they are made by carbon express) our current Y nock will work on both.

Hi Guys!  I Changed the name to Xbowman.  Might be changing it again.  I just was never really happy with the PHS1990.  Anyhow, I wrote to nockturnal (Double take archery) to see if they are going to be coming out with a lighted crossbow nock and I was told that this spring they will have one. Does anyone have experience with the Nockturnal nocks?

Nockturnal require the string to absolutely, positively align with the switch at the back of the nock.  In case of most crossbow nock, such alignment does not exist.  Nockturnal is mad by glueing the neck of the till bobber light inside a nock  with a plunger switch and in case of crossbow nock, the entire nock is too short to allow such spacing, not to mention the space needed for a hole at under the prong of the nock to flip the switch off.  This just do not happen in a crossbow nock.  In case of most crossbow, the force or it is so strong which most who use nocturnal know that any speed over 300fps, the battery flies forward!  It sure will be interesting to see what the new owner Rage will do for the crossbow crowd.  You do know Rage brought the Nockturnal from Double take and it is no longer a Double Take Archery product.

Would it be possible to use the same nock shaft set up for the Y nock, which would work in the carbon Express arrow, only with the Q style nock string end ? This would be a perfect set up for the Parker (Carbon Express) arrows. In other words, cut the shaft end off the Y nock and attach it to the head of the Q style nock, sort of speak.

I love the way the Q style works in my Easton XX75 2219s and how it slightly clips to the string, perrrrfecttttt set up. Thanks Firenock..
