Just ordered a Parker Tornado.  It should be delivered sometime next week.  It's my first crossbow, can't wait.

Congratulations, good choice. Word of advise, get your self a red hot roller rope cocker. Do not use the standard cocker. It will marr the finish of the barrel on your bow. Also if you got arrows with the bow and they are Parker arrows but not the red hots, they will have moon nocks. Moon nocks will work but better off with the capture nocks. Carbon Express makes the arrows for Parker and only Carbon Express nocks will work in their arrows. I got a dozen capture nocks off e-bay for around $9.00 for 12. The Carbon Express arrows shoot very well out of my bow. Enjoy your new found stick and string, I love mine. Have fun with it, they are a ball to shoot, and better shoot at different spots on the target or you will be buying arrows again, so very accurate.

I remember the week I waited last year. It will be worth the wait, you should be very pleased! I would recommend the string suppressors if you didn't already order them.

Welcome to the Parker family.  I've owned a Tornado since 2009.  The string suppressors that Filedtip mentioned are a great addition...easy to install and well worth the money.  They do little to quiet the crossbow....but they do make it much more comfortable to shoot.  They change the 'twang' to a 'thud' after you shoot.  I've shot the original moon-nock equipped Red Hots since I bought it, and have never had a problem.  They're a little more money, but I've found them to be very durable, consistent flyers.  All the new Parker arrows come with the capture nocks.  The roller cocker is another good suggestion.  I like it much better than the standard one.  Not only do the rollers keep it from marring the finish, they also help prevent the hooks from jumping the barrel when you cock the crossbow.

Also have yourself a metric hex/allen head set of tools. There are metric screws in the scope if you got one with it and also in the quiver bracket. Check this out;

Tornado showed up Tuesday.  Still need to sight it in. My bad luck. Sinus infection showed up the same day. Took a couple shots and it is sweet.  Looks like its shooting about 10 inches low at 20 yards but same hole with 3 shots. Hope there is enough adjustment in the scope for that.  Thinking its not an issue though. Plan to give it a workout this weekend.

Congrats on a great bow. Make sure you lube the rail ever 15-20 shot's. There should be plenty of adjustment in your scope. Enjoy   :thumbsu:

Gator1, do not forget to put the bow together with the removable lock tight on all the screws. There will be some on some of the screws from Parker.
