I think that's a great idea! Let me know how it goes. :)

Brian

I think I'm with you. I really like these alot. I may have to try them out of a crossbow anyways. Won't be anytime soon tho.

The Killzone package has NOT FOR USE IN CROSSBOWS printed on the back. Also states not for use in any bow over 350 fps.  NAP is working on a crossbow model.

New Youtube vid out that shows package with the warnings printed on back. The man in the vid reads the warning out loud.

Yeah I've since changed my mind. Not worth the risk for $40. Especially since there are so many crossbow friendly options out there. I'm really bummed tho cuz I like these a lot.

Even though I said I am going to try them I still havent yet.  Tinkering with too much right now anyways but I don't care if it says not for crossbows I will still give them a shot when I can get a pack but that could be a while.

If they make a head for our crossbows in the mean time till I can get some then yes I will get the crossbow approved ones but if not I will still give these a shot.

I got time. You order them and send them to my house and I'll test them. :)

I'll PM you my address if you're interested.

B-S,

Wont be long as i just picked up a pack of the killzones to try in my scorpyd 165.  If they
Make it with my bow they will work with just about any bow.

Most likely next week though, as i work the next 3 nights.

Hey smitty. Welcome to CN.

I'm not sure you're understanding what Brian's motives are. He just likes to test archery equipment. It's a lot of fun. I highly doubt he'll consider NAP product junk if the Killzone fails out of his crossbow. NAP has been up front stating these broadheads were not designed with crossbows in mind.

You're simply not giving Brian enough credit.

Smittty,  First of all welcome to CN.. I hope you enjoy your stay here.

Like B-S said I just like to tinker a lot.  I mean A LOT!!  I consider myself along with some others a TINKERERERER.  I don't care if something says not for crossbows or if it doesn't say FOR CROSSBOWS.   There are A LOT of products that weren't made just for crossbows that work great.  People really like spitfires and not sure about the new ones that are put out but the older ones DIDN"T say for crossbows.    Yes I am going to beat you to the punch here and say, yes its different when something DOESNT say NOT for crossbows and one that doesn't say ANYTHING for or against crossbow.

I am a TINKERERERERER,  I love to try things out JUST TO SEE what happens and get knowledge for future ideas to try.

NO I WILL NOT SAY NAP IS JUNK IF IT DOES'T WORK OUT!!!!   NAP already stated that they are working on a crossbow version.  I just can't wait that long.  NO patience here like B-S has.

And Thankyou B-S for sticking up for me and pointing out things as I wouldn't want anyone to think like Smittty is as he is new here.  I am NOT like that and the longer you spend here the more you will learn who is who and what they are about.

I do welcome you Smittty and really hope you stick around as there are a bunch of great guys here for us all to learn from.

B-S.  Like I said next week some time I will be giving a nice report of these heads.  Good or bad and for Smittty don't worry as I WILL point out that these heads were not recommended for crossbows if they don't perform.  That will be stated before my post and after so people are very clear about that..
