Hi. Future crossbow owner here. Had a ladder break with me 3 years ago and fell on a concrete slab, smashing my right shoulder blade and shoulder joint. Had extensive reconstructive surgery and had to give up bowhunting and my beloved PSE bow. Doc says I'm good enough now to use a crossbow and has signed the crossbow permit required here in Missouri. He sez I'll never be able to draw a regular bow again, that the crossbow is gonna be permanent for me. Oh well, not so bad after looking at some and shooting a couple of them. Will be buying one sometime this spring. Leaning really hard towards the Ten Points.
This looks like a really great site for learning about the finer points of owning and shooting a crossbow.
Greetings from the boonies of northern Missouri

Hi Skeezix
Welcome to the Crossbow Nation & the world of crossbow shooting.
Sorry to hear about your misfortune but I think you will find
your archery has taken a different direction but still as enjoyable.
Goodluck.

Welcome Skeezix,
There is a lot of information on this site. Test drive as many xbows as you can. Just because you have a stock does'nt make it a sure thing. It's still a stick and a string one way or another. You'll have a good time with it for sure. Welcome to the Nation!!!
