A desk top computer, keyboard, monitor and all. I brought it home turned it on trying to figure out who the owner was but it was wiped clean. I was surprised it actually worked.

Two lovers.  The girl was smart.  She didn't care what I saw except she covered her face.  Its a rural area where everybody knows just about everybody!

An old empty papoose hanging from a tree. Being Cree, it gave me the willies.

One of my big fears.  I don't know why but for some reason I just feel in my hunting career I will come across something like this.

Every time I go scouting I am always thinking about this and get nervous when I see blankets or bags.  Don't know why but its something I think about a lot.

That would just suck and ruin more than just a day.

Haven't found too much while hunting, except for a field on a horse farm I hunted many years ago, where several teenage girls liked to ride topless on sunny days!
Found a safe once while fishing!
It was dumped from a road into the water.
It had been very crudly broken open.
Called the cops and they fished it out,and found it to be empty.
It traced back to a robbery several weeks before.
Archery and gun hunter since WAY back in the early 70s !

i always had the creeps of coming across a dead body while hunting,,, came across 2 dead bodies in my life dont want a third,,, first one on edge of parking lot heading to cox lumber 30 years ago and the other one was a place to 4x4 and trail riding saw a car parked next to the trail and looked in and looked like the guy put a gun in his mouth and you can imagine the rest,,,wasnt pretty,, well have found a 12ga. shotgun leaning against a tree and been there for a while as i picked it up rusty water came out of barrel,,dropped off at police station heard nothing about it since,,, the worst was getting a little lost but knew wich way i had to go to get back to highway came across a dozen or so skinheads/gothic men and woman chanting with candles and as i said just passing thru as i had a loaded gun,, one guy says come over dont worry its safe !!! lets say i was nervous and wasnt sure if i was gonna have to shoot someone,,, so thats always on my mind going thru the woods after dark,,,

A diesel locomotive. It was in the middle of the Pine Barrens and walking around deer hunting I stubled along an old railroad bed. I followed it for a little bit and I see this large object in the woods. I got closer to it and saw a full size train locomotive and only like 2 sections of tracks underneath it. Looked weird as heck and certainly out of place just sitting in the woods, kinda creepy really, like they just drove it out there, parked it, pulled up the tracks and left it. Why would they do that? I dunno. About 50 feet from the train was a complete '59 Plymouth with the keys in it too. No dead body (although I didn't check the trunk) in it. looks like it got parked and left for some reason.
Why is there enough religion in the world to incite wars and hatred, but not enough to enstill peace and tolerance?

Atleast living in Florida he can be armed.  Here in NJ you are on your own with maybe a knife and thats it.I would be much happier if I could carry my 45. But being in the woods unprotected freaks me out sometimes!!!  You can't trust people these days. Which is sad.

Was archery hunting years ago in full cammo. I was tucked into a blind that I had built from branches and twigs not far from a creek bed. I hear what I thought was a deer coming down the hill, only to have some dude sneak right past me on my left at about 5 yards. Looking out of place in my deer woods. Long hair raggedy T shirt and blue jeans sneakers. He never sees me seated in my blind with all the cammo and face paint. He continues down to the creek maybe 50 yards away bends over and fusses with something on the ground, moves a bit, on the ground again and does this over and over again. After 10 minutes or so he begins walking directly toward me. He is holding a handful of plants and when he gets beside me again (5 yards) to my left, I figured I'd have some fun with him. I jump up and say hi. This guy nearly **** himself and takes off running. After maybe 15 minutes he's back again. Obviously this city boy has no clue what his bearing is in these woods because he is now scooting down the hill real slow on his butt at a distance of about 5 yards again, only now or my right. He looks at me and I could tell that I had surprised him again. We just stare at each other for a while and finally he looks away, stands and walks back up the hill and is gone. I go down to the creek to see if I could find what he was fussing with and you guessed it. A whole bunch of little starter marijuana plants where growing in this little plot maybe 30' X 30' A well groomed batch of hooch free for the taking. I hunted that creek bottom several more times that year but never saw the dude again.

A speedboat in the middle of a swamp.  It was of 60s or 70s vintage and I have no idea how it got there unless it was there so long the trees grew up around it.  And it's still there I'm sure.
