But the Scorpyds dimensions aren't bigger than most crossbows (from my research). Especially the Ventilator. Now I have read that the Telson is kinda on the heavy side. I think around 10 or 11 lbs (with scope). Again the Ventilator is supposed to be 7.9lbs (just bow). Also reversed limbs should balance the weight more (in theory). You'll have to check their website but I'm guessing Scorpyds probally are wider than the Vision.
SZ model is a lot lighter. I'm thinking it's 6.5 to 7 lbs (not sure if that includes scope). Personally I think the SZ350 is a better deal (between 350 and 380). The draw weight on the 350 is only 135 lbs while the 380 is 165 lbs, and only 30 fps faster. The 350 would be easier to cock and less wear n tear on your limbs. I'm guessing the 350 is cheaper as well.
What I love about the Ventilator is that there is a 125 pound limb option that still produces 370 FPS with a 400gr arrow. It's light enough to be a good hunting xbow (comparing to weight of a standard rifle) and the dimensions are comparable to just about any compact xbow. I LOVE the titanium harware. This thing looks like it was built to last. I've read the Telson is very durable as well.
I'm sure you already know the HUGE price difference between SZ and Scorpyd so I won't talk about that.
Again I don't have ANY personal experience with any of these. This is just my opinions based on a lot of research.

Back to the topic I have both a SZ380 and a scorpyd 165 and have a Ventilator on order love them both. Size to me isn't a big issue between the two crossbows.

Jetster, why do remain on the outside looking in ?
Everone knows you come here to the Scorpyd forum because you secretly covet one.
Just order one up and be happy.
You need to come in out of the rain, son.
I'd rather kill with a crossbow than wound with a compound !

Hi Madarcher427 Here are some photos for size comparison for the Scorpyd 165 and, a Bowtech 350. These are very similar products to what you requested. The Scorpyd is a little bigger than the Vision. The Bowtech very similar in size to the Vision with the 2 having different limb designs.
Hope this helps

Hi madarcher427 The vent is 3" less in width and, 2" shorter in length than the 165. The old vision(175lb draw wt/12.75" power stroke) shoots about 300fps, the 350(135lb draw wt/15.5" power stroke) about 350fps and, the vent (150lb draw weight/18.5" power stroke)about 400fps. These are 3 totally different xbows. If drawing back is of concern you might want to try a cocking device. There are pictures on the Scorpyd forum that show a cocking device on a Scorpyd. Rex from Scorpyd may have more information. His # is on here. I myself haven't seen the other 2 xbows with a cocking device as of yet.
Good luck on your new xbow purchase.

I would only add that the Ventilator has a limb option that's 100 pound draw and still shoots a 22inch 400gr arrow 345FPS. FYI.

I hunt out of an older API Bowhunter Climber. It has the open front and the hand climber has extended handles for aid in climbing. I have been in the tree with my 125 now a 130 Telson for two years now. When I am at the desired height, I move the seat/hand climber just to the right of the platform. I hang the bow on the climbing handle thru the stock. Having the climber just to the right allows room for the stirrup to clear the stand platform. The scope is actually resting behind my right calf. It sits there very comfortably. I did get busted once this year but I have taken three deer in two years with the bow hanging like this. I anyone has this stand, I will add pictures if that might help.
