I wonder how far the legs of the biopod extend down? If they don't extend too f?ar down, how useful would they be outside of target shooting

Here is your answer to you questions.
The bi-pod comes in three sizes and the one in the pictures is a 18-25 inch. I hope this helps

I went to the Harris website I think that is the biggeest.model .Rex should have that info. That where I got the info of the one shown in the pic.plus The Harris bi-pod folds back under the vented forearm and is far enough back to where you can still grip forearm with your hand and still shoot

Bipods.........check out STONEY POINT.
What do you think about what they offer. Do any of you think something they offer that may be longer than what harris offers might work good on the ventilator. Just curious. Either way I'm concerned about not getting to much weight.
  What do you think?

I'm probably going to order it just to have a bipod if I ever need it. 25"plus the height of the rail puts it at a good level especially from a tree stand shooting down, from a ground blind, or stopping on a stalk... Not to mention I'm in the process of an AR build for coyote hunting and I could use it for that!

Harris has one up to 27 inches,  I haven't figured out how tall I need it to be yet. Or what height will work with the bow.

I'll be ordering one shortly to replace my RDT 125. I like the bi-pod option!

Most bipods connect thru the sling swivels,so just about any make should work.....most will have a model that can be used in the sitting position

The package with the scope is around $2,600... The scope itself is right around $1,200.

...and you can re-use the ammunition.  :)

Scorpyd Crossbows...Nothing else compares !
I'd rather kill with a crossbow than wound with a compound !
"Compound Bowhunters"...Why do you fear the more humane and efficient weapon ?
