Could it be possible for a buck to have already dropped his antlers? The reason I ask is because I just saw a huge doe today that looked like it would weigh 200+ pounds.Do they ever loose them this early?.Im in Georgia.Does the weather have anything to do with it because its been a warm winter for the most part.

Yes. I've already found some sheds up here (Ohio). But it is not uncommon. I once found 5 sheds one year before christmas.

Usually depends on the weather/cold-ness IMO!!!!!I once saw 2 fully racked bucks chasing a doe in heat in March though!!!!I really thing alot of breeding happens after deer season (January/February and even March)due to alot of hunting pressure......

Depends on where you are? The farther north the faster. Down south slow. Of coarse anyting can happen with deer. I dated my wife one spring, horse back riding in Memphis. Saw a nice rack on a buck,,it was April!

I also think health has alot to do with it as well!!!!!If its starving during a bad weather they will drop earlier....Just my opinion as well.......

It is mighty early for them to drop in our part of the world Stalker. I usually have turkey feeders going by now with trail cameras on them and it is around mid Feb. before my bucks start dropping. I live about 60 miles W. from you looks like. Not saying it can't happen, just have not seen it locally.
