Just got to this topic, have a question been bothering me since I put the cranking cock on my Wildcat C5... here's the question... when you crank back the cocking sled, thus cocking the bow, you hear a click which means it's cocked, and the safety is on... but you still have to reach up to remove the cocking sled and, for a while, the sled is in front of the cocked string while you run,(using fingers), the sled forward under the bow's scope to return it to its' rest on the stock; what's the safest way to keep your fingers out of harms way when removing the cocking sled, running it 4 or so inches under your scope until it clears so you can put it back on the stock?
