I bought my first xbow used, a Barnett  Penetrator. I got three used grim reapers with it. All three had bent blades. I straightened out the best looking one, and sharpened it. First time hunting with it, i killed a nice 8 point. Deer went about 30 yards. Blood trail might have been visible from outter space!!!

im glad the rages worked for you, lost deer using them, didnt penetrate for crap for me and a couple other guys i know. I havent decided on which head ill use, i did just order 18 22" carbon express surge. I used the 20" last year in my horton and they worked good for me.

Taped the spitfires, first shot into a tore up black hole, snapped blade, second shot tape came off, third shot untaped, didnt even look like they opened up. Guess im going to be a fixed blade guy. Slickt tricks here i come

I REALLY think you ll be happy with slicks! I tried the mags out this season and I'm blown away! massive holes, pass-thrus buried in ground behind the deer, and amazing blood trails. my doe left gobs of blood 3-4 FEET HIGH on both rows of corn! punched through a doe and buried at 47 paces also! LOVE EM!

oh, and they have EXCELLENT customer service btw

Not to take away from this topic ..But I have recently bought 125 reapers and I have been shooting the practice head for quite a few shots .it shoots about 1 to 2 inches up and to the left consitantly enough if I aim 1 to 2 to the right I will hit the bull everytime at 30and 40 yrds..my question.. should i adjust my scope for this broadhead or should i leave it where it is since feildpoints hit perfect

Ask yourself what you want. Are you hunting with field points? Obviously not, but it is always nice to be able to punch paper, foam, a bag or whatever and hit where tou are aiming. If you hunt with the reapers to shoot whatever, then that is what you want sighted in for the moment of truth. It doesn't take much though to adjust either way, I just like being super accurate with my game heads over target heads.
Its not the kill, its the thrill of the chase

I agree with above, if you can hunt now or soon, sight em in proper, if you have to wait an eternity like me, then use the practice tips. Ive got 4 reaper practice tips that came with what i ordered. Ill sight in the target tips first, see what the difference is and use the target tips. I think those reaper tips would tear our target up pretty good.
