You will need to contact Jim or Rex to pre-order. Calling them is best option, however I can speak from experience that Rex is very good about responding to emails. You should be able to find their contact information on here. Let me know if you need help finding it.

Thanks Rex... You just pushed me over the edge! I had pretty much made up my mind but now I'm in for sure. I will give you a call in the morning... this will be my first xbow and i can't wait! Much thanks to everyone on this forum that fueled the fire... great info that convinced me that you truly get what you pay for. i figure my purchases will be few and far between when it comes to xbows so it is definitely important that I make the right choice...

Here is Jim's (MrScorpyd) original announcement of the Ventilator:
Quote
The Ventilator will be available in all black, or new for 2012, RealTree Hardwoods camo. It will be available as a Base Kit ($1349.00) which will include the crossbow, String Stops, Scope Rail, and Sled Cocker, or as partial or complete packages. We will be offering the NEW Hawke Optics 1.5-5 MAP as the standard scope on this bow, and the Hawke 1.5-5 SR, as well as other (to be announced at ATA) scopes will be optional.
We are now taking orders for the Ventilator. Get your order in early, as there will surely be a waiting list for this crossbow as the year moves forward. We will start shipping late March to early April.

I'm not 100%, but I think Hawke may have new scopes coming out for 2012 but their site hasn't been updated. This is just a guess.

Clint,
The 1.5-5 Hawke is a new scope. The 1.5-5 map has a speed dial that has a range to 425 fps and the 1.5-5 Hawke SR also has the speed dial but also has illuminated reticles. It operates like the old XB-30 but is less weight and the speed dial goes to 425 fps instead of 360 fps.
The 1.5-5 map retails for 109.00 and the 1.5-5 SR retails for 189.00.
