Just bought a SZ 380. Heard the rage heads may open in flight and most fixed blade heads plane. What do you guys use? Also, I'm using the bolts that came with the bow if that helps.

well Verne , thats a good question,,, a lot of folks, (me included ) use NAP Spitfires of some variety, if you are going to go with a fixed head you will need to keep it small, say 1 1/8" or less such as slick tricks variety,,,

Verne; I have used the Slick Tricks 125gr. on a blackbear this past fall. WOW what a hole it made.Complete pass thru. The bear didn't go 40 yards and that was it. I probably could have re-used  it but I couldn't get it out of the tire it was stuck into. NO, I didn't shoot my truck, we use tires to cover the bait for bears and the top tire that the broadhead was in, still had the rim on it. These heads fly dead true out of my Strykeforce with a total arrow weight of 500 gr. Hope this helps,...Lloyd

I used Muzzy heads with my old compound bow with good results but they would not work at all when I got a new, faster compound. I settled on Steelforce 100 grain fixed heads (a brand I rarely see mentioned when this topic comes up) they fly just like field tips out of my Mathews- my new SZ350 should be here on Tuesday.. I'll let you know how they fly with it when I get a chance, never know for sure until you try them but I'm pretty confident that they will fly well.

I truly enjoy broadhead testing. I will send you a pm with a link to some of the results I have had.
