Newbie question. Why is it that the Havoc shoots 40 fps less than the Fury with more draw weight? The Havoc DW is 175 pounds and shoots 325 while the Fury shoots 360 fps with 160 pounds? Power stroke on the Fury is only about one inch longer. I have a Tenpoint Titan but I'm looking for something faster. Really like the SZ380 but don't like all the problems In hear about them. Now I'm seeing some are having stocks breaking! Love to have a Telson 165 but can't see putting that much cash into a crossbow. Also how is Horton's customer service? Thanks, Ky Bob

i dont think the technical info will be out til the new Hortons hit the shelves.Horton customer service is great!always pick up the phone and last week i needed some strings and got them in less than a week. with the bowtechs i certainly dont wanna put up with blowin up limbs and stocks and shipping back to the dealer everytime.they say theyve been fixed though but time will tell. good luck with your decision. there are some nice xbows on the market.

I reckon the Havoc will be out to Dealers before the Fury is. The Fury at the ATA show wasn't a working model. I went with a SZ350 not as fast as the 380 but does fairly well with 135 lb limbs.

It's the power stroke difference. Fury has a 15 3/8" power stroke and the Havoc has a 14 1/4". Power stroke is all important to the speed of a crossbow. The Havoc is also shorter in overall length. I personally like the Havoc's rear riser better, plus they reduced the price by $100.00 from last year's Vision 175. IMO, this is going to be one of the sleeper crossbows of the year. No, it's not the fastest but after owning a V 175, I'm confident the Havoc will be one sweet shooter and durability was never a problem for the V 175. The Havoc also features an auto safety and anti dry fire system plus it uses premium Viper X strings and cables. I also like the stock design of the Havoc better than the fury:-)
