Guys & Gals,
This is the agenda for the January Pennsylvania BOC Meeting. I have copied below the part of the agenda that addresses the 2012 Sunset Provisions for crosbows. As you will see it looks very favorable for crossbow full inclusion in Pennsylvanias archery season.I believe that there is a majority of commissioners that will support these amenments and we will finally have "FULL AND PERMANENT CROSSBOW INCLUSION" in archery season in Pennsylvania!!!!!.

C. Amend 58 Pa. Code §§ 141.43 and 141.44.
Commentary: On January 27, 2009, the Commission adopted amendments to §§
141.43 and 141.44 (relating to deer and bear) that, inter alia,
authorized the general use of crossbows during archery deer and bear
seasons. The crossbow amendments in these provisions are subject to a
sunset provision that expires on June 30, 2012. The Commission is
proposing to amend §§ 141.43 and 141.44 to eliminate the sunset language
to effectively make permanent the authorized general use of crossbows
during archery deer and bear seasons.

outside diameter or width of at least 7/8 inch with at least two cutting
edges located on the same plane throughout the length of the cutting
surface, and may not exceed 3 inches in length. [This subparagraph shall
become effective July 1, 2009, and expire on June 30, 2012, unless the
Commission authorizes its continued legal effectiveness prior to June 30,
2012.]

§ 141.44. Bear.
(a) Archery bear season.

season with any of the following devices:

Thanks for the update PA.   I actually got some pm's from guys that didn't know about the upcoming vote from my profile comments.  They contacted the commissioners in their area and, voiced their support for crossbow full inclusion.  If anyone lives OR hunts in PA,  time is running out for you to voice your support this great sport.   Go NOW to the PA Crossbow Federation site right here on CN. Look under the Sunset Provision post to find the commissioner list.  Contact them to share your interest.
If you live or hunt in PA it would also be nice if you supported Stan Rush and their board by joining the PA Crossbow Federation. The membership form can be found @ the PA Crossbow Federation web site.    Remember they are working to support our interests.

Thanks very much Tom for your support! The PCF has always been for freedom of choice of archery equipment in archery season.I alsp encourage members and non-members to send those emails to their commissioners to show their support of full and permanent inclusion of crossbows in archery season. We also welcome and encourage all to join the PCF.
