Just wanted to say thanks for all the help I've gotten here in the last few days.  I got my first crossbow on Sunday (SZ380), found this sight on Monday, and started right off with the questions without so much as an introduction.  You guys are great.  So far, I've seen some awesome pics of this crossbow and some of the stuff you've done with yours; learned what broadheads I should be looking at; learned what to use for rail/flight deck lube; and picked up a ton of tips just by reading older posts.  Oh, and certainly not least, I've picked up on a little of the lingo that I previously had never heard.

I've been bow hunting since I was about 14, so that's what???  27 years.  2011 was the first time I ever hunted with a crossbow.  I used my Dad's Quad 400 and took a doe.  That pretty much did me in, and now that crossbows are legal for archery season in Texas, it was a no brainer what my next purchase was going to be.  I think I made the right choice with the 380.

Look forward to becoming a regular around here.  I'll try not to ask too many questions that I'm sure you guys get all the time, but no promises.

Lastly, I'd really like to see more pics of the way you guys have decked out your Strykers.  I saw one that I can't seem to find again.  It was all black.

Thanks Again
Verne

Verne I also did a lot of browsing on this site before I made my choice for a new crossbow -A heck of a lot of information for all to absorb.I thing the crossbow pics that you are looking for is the 350 that Field Archer has shown--pretty cool

Here are my 350 and 380. they've been bullet proof with a total of over 1000 shots. My favorite is the 350. Matter of fact, IMO, it's the best all around hunting crossbow I've ever owned.
