Might be in the wrong place but does anyone have an updated list of state crossbow regs?
I'ld like to put together some kind of a hunt, possibly with a crossbow, and it would surely make it alot easier if I could rule out certain areas right from the start!

Kentucky has specific crossbow season and crossbow can be used during modern firearm. Unless you have a crossbow exemption form filled out by a licensed physician. The new regulations hasn't been up dated yet and I don't believe they will change but who knows we will just have to wait and see.

I noticed the site you posted says Michigan requires the bow to have a max 350fps speed. I checked out the MI DNR site and I don't see this requirement. Anyone have any insight into this?

Wow! The states are all over the place on crossbow use. To bad they all can't make them legal for everyone during archery seasons.

I do know that Indiana just adapted full inclusion for crossbows this year...along with lengthening the archery season to extend through the end of Jan.  When the regs were enacted at the beginning of this year someone apparently forgot to check the wording about the dates, so instead of the extended season being started for the 2012-13 season the extended season actually started THIS year for anyone in an urban bonus zone that still has a leftover tag, or someone with a lifetime license or someone hunting on their own land that qualifies for a landowner tag (which I do).

Hopefully this Wildcat C5 that I picked up in the last week will have chance to take down a deer yet before the end of this month!!!

They did away with the restrictions last year.

Cool thanks! Not sure how they can regulate that anyways. Are the DNR officers carrying around chronos?

Wisconsin is 65 years old.  If you are younger you will need a Dr. permit stateing you can't use a vertical bow due to a physical imparement.  Than the DNR will issue a permit to use a crossbow.  At present time we are working on getting the age down to 55 years old.  Time will tell if this is going to happen.

Virgina crossbow season runs concurrent with the archery season.you can use an xbow all season long....as long as you purchase black powder and rifle licenses.I think the only regulations are xbow must be able to shoot a bolt 125 yards and broadhead has a cut of a min. of 1 1/8

This can't be right. Maybe the bow has to have a minimum draw weight of 125 lbs?
