Hi

I love my penetrator..and i was thinking if Barnett will consider adding string suppressors for those high speed xbows..oh whell..anybody know if i can try one on my penetrator (even made from different companys??)..would be nice to give the string support and brake the pressure off !!

Any ideas??

I looked into doing the same thing but you would need to mod the riser thus voiding the warranty!So I just installed the BowJax system for split limb crossbow's.

Funny I seen this topic today ..I actually just bought a set of the Bowjax Magnums for splitlimbs $30 total with shipping...I already had some Limbsavers from walmart for $13 I had put on a few days ago ...on my quad 400 the bowjax didn't work as good ..still had large vibration almost the same as nothing on it at all ...I put the Limbsavers back on it and it was quite a big difference...my suggestion and this is just me but I wouldn't waist my money on the Bowjax even though I already have...

My Bowjax have made a bid difference in noise dampening.You have to install them just as they say for optimum benefit.Instead of the twang I get a quick thud and thats all.I have them installed on all my CB's and Im happy with them.I have a video on youtube with them installed on my Carbon Express Covert 3.5.

Yea I'm figuring it may be my bow setup cause I really have a limited range to place them on my quad 400..with them on mine I get a sustained twang and a thud with the limb savers ... I was really hoping the bowjax would work on mine just cause I like the looks and ease of putting them on ..but gootta try different things or ill never know what works best...plus side I have a set of bowjax for my next Xbow..hehe

you should be able to have them on your quad 400 with no problem.I even use them on my Predator CRT that has the AVI limbs. My Predator is alot quieter with them.I have the pics in this Barnett forum under "show pics of you killing mach".

I just looked at that pic ..I can't get mine to go that far down the limbs ..ill have to post a pic here in a bit with em on it ..I have the 1/2 inch as low as you can get .

I just put them back on ..we will see tmrw .I'm gonna take it out tmrw and try withBowJax,limbsavers, and none at all

i have a ghost 400, it has rubber coated limbs, has anybody added additional sound suppression to this model with success?

I have the AVI limbs on my Predator CRT and I put Bowjax on the limbs.Dont know if they helped but they cant hurt either! The big thing for my Predator CRT is the arrow retention spring,cables and string all got the suppressors and that was a BIG DIFFERENCE.I have the Bowjax system on all my CB's and it seams to help on them.I get more of a  thump than the  twang.Also these have to be placed in the right position to get the best performance out of them.I guess its all what a person likes...On my CB's I like Bowjax and on my Compound I use LImbsavers.just my opinion
