I see there are two types, or it looks that way in pics. One attaches to stock at the end with no strap, the other looks like it screws further into stock. Any recomendations on which one? I twist when pulling the rope cocker back. Its isnt hard for me physicaly to pull string, easy actualy, but the distance im traveling is causing me to move, or the bow to move.  Either way, my arrows are hitting tip first left angle.

I see where you stated you are having a hard time keeping your string straight. What works for me, first of all, I shortened the pull string cocking device to where i have to use my middle fingers to slightly pull the bow string back to get the hooks on the string. This gives me the most travel to lock the the bow in the fire position without getting off balance. Next, I slide the hooks all the way against the flight rail with hooks facing up before I pull the string back to make sure it is straight as possible. (Don't know if the hooks facing up makes any difference, just works for me!) Good Luck!

Irish, If I could cock the Predator using the rope cocker with a little more ease I would opt for the rope over the crank. The crank is of very high quality and worth every penny but awkward and heavy.
Barnett predator
Crosman teton
Excalibur phoenix
Horton super mag
Horton steel force
70's Barnett wildcat
Poelang recurve crossbow

I had bought the crank for Pred. CRT, but did not like if sticking up so high off the back of the stock.I wish it was  built into the butt stock like the crank for other models like the Quad 400.I wonder if it is possable to buy the other one & build it into the stock.

Im ordering it this week, i keep twisting cause the draw is so long. Im one of those, i have to lay my arrows on top of one another guys when i shoot, so it might be a pain, but ill deal with it. Also getting a rhinehart target, the one with the deer vitals on one side. Good reviews on it.

i wonder if the crank on the buck commander would fit the predator since the adjustable butt looks the same.

i had mine up for sae until i noticed it had parted my servings in a short amount of time. I sent it back and am waiting for the new one, which im selling. I solved the twisting problem i was having by simply speeding up my pull.

I just bought a new cocking rope by TenPoint. Its called the ACU Rope. Its a universal rope cocker that retracts into the handle. Also much quiter & its not all wadded up in my pcket. It comes with a carrying case that attaches to your belt or pants pocket.Magnetic closer so its quite to.
No more dangling ropes or handles, compact, draws the bow accurately everytime.Says it will not work on Horton Recon and Vision crossbows,PSE TAC series crossbows , Stryker or Scorpyd crossbows.Heys works really good on the Predator Lite CRT .Best rope cocker I have seen yet.
