Flashlights

Have since moved to LEDs and most recently found a very good High Performance LED.
It is the Ultrafire WF501b 5 mode with the CREE XML T6 LED.
Make sure it is the CREE XML T6 LED, there are others that are not nearly as bright.
It runs on a rechargeable Lithium Battery, 18650 or 2 each CR123 batteries.
The 5 mode has high, medium, low, strobe, and SOS capability.
The high is nearly 1,000 Lumens. SERIOUSLY, it is BRIGHT.
I measured the current draw on high and it is 2.8 Amps.
The CREE Spec sheet on the XML T6 LED shows around 900 Lumens at 2.8 Amps.
Look for a package deal for the flashlight, a recharger, and two 18650 batteries for about $25
on Amazon or E-bay or just do a search on Google.
I bought my flashlights through Amazon for $15 plus $5 shipping.
I bought two rechargeable batteries and a charger thru Amazon for $15.
I typically buy the CR123 batteries through Battery Junction for $1 each plus shipping.
You can find similar deals all over the internet.
I have used my flashlight at night walking through the woods and they are UNBELEIVABLE.
I turn it down on low which is about 100 Lumens once I get out of the woods to a road.
It will illuminate things out to about 100 yards.
You can expect the battery to last about 1 hour on high, about 2 hours on medium, and 10 hours on low.
Keep in mind, low is as bright as the old Surefire G2 that only lasted 1 hour on 2 ea. CR-123 batteries.

Pending your application watch the brightness. For interior work some of todays lights are way too bright! Splash off most household walls can be blinding. I run two lights on my out the door AR for just this reason. A little light can go a long way when it's dark.
Still looking for a light that can make it through the night on just one set of batteries.
Remember, lights also make great bullet magnets.

Do the lights have colored LED bulbs available like maybe red, green, or blue, as used for night hunting Hogs, and Predators ?
Also if you have these lights for sale, please use the market place.
