Finally I dug out my old spine tester and dicovered that it tested significantly lighter in spine at all angles of rotation compared to the good flying arrows. Also it wasn't consistant in spine from one side of the shaft to the other at most points. I was a little bit perturbed with the quality of this shaft so I went through all I had stocked up and found one more in the same condition. This stinks $10 worth of arrow shafts (I bought them 2 years ago.) unusable.
I have a chance to buy some Easton xx75 crossbow arrows (on closeout no less $3.50/arrow) and am seriously considering getting them at least I'll know that they are consistant. What do you think, am I overreacting?
