I ask the question in the Parker section about my crossbows serving size a few minutes ago and got to wondering about all crossbow serving size. Maybe someone here in the general section knows. I am wondering if most all crossbows have a general size or are all different brands a different size ? I know Firenock makes different size nocks to fit a pecific string serving size, but I do not know the string serving size and it is not in the Parker web site. I could not find anything even on a web search for serving size. I am running Google and sometimes I have a hard time finding a specific item on the web. I entered crossbow string serving size and came up with a very little help.

Parker crossbow are 0.145". Most crossbow on the market are 0.155".   PSE and ten points are 0.165". The problem for most is that some crossbow's string has downward pressure which make them not suitable for full containment nock. Excalibur and ten point come to mind, which both are flat mock bows. The Barnett ghost has the same issue. The Scorpyd are a true center travel bow with no up or down pressure which make it a great bow to use an arrow rest and full containment rest. To be frank, most accurate bow are true center travel nock with thin servings. FYI, the new hortn's serving is 0.125"

Fuzzy, I doubt most mfrs know the diameter of their servings since they most likely outsource strings.
I assume you're talking about center servings.  Most folks I know use from .020 to .035, and like FN says, can alter the contact point of string to arrow, tho usually not enough difference to be critical for moon nocks.
End loops are sometimes served in different diameters than centers.

Thank you both for your help. I am talking about center serving. Well I thought sure they would have that information somewhere. Once again, thank you.
