Barnett now sells a 515gr 4 vane arrow. Does any know who makes it for them, like Easton maybe. I wonder what the inside dia at the nock end is. Also what is the outside dia. Load us upon all the info. I think my ghost 400 would like fling a few of these with broadheads.
If you cant out run it- out shoot it!

I made 22" laser 4s for a friend with brass inserts and aluminum nocks with 100 grain point they weighed either 502 or 507 grains that was with three 2" blazer vanes if i added one more vane it would be in the ball park of what youre looking for.

Wow, I feel as if I just let the cat out of the bag! Or could it be that this topic is a big no-no around here?  What ever.  I was just
thinking that it would be nice if I could just go out and buy an arrow off the shelf, rather than try to make one.
Thanks rock74 for the reply.

I looked on Barnett's website and did not see the arrows you are talking about. Where did you here this? I do like the idea of having a heavier arrow as an option. Maybe this is something  a custom arrow builder is putting together and selling.

Todd:
I found the 515 gr arrows on the " The Crossbow Store"  under Barnett 22 Inch 515 gr arrows.

Barnett 22 Inch Crossbow Bolts 515 Grains. Manufactured to meet Michigan game laws so it doesn't exceed 340 fps with 515gr arrow. Pack of five carbon bolts with moon nocks and 125gr field points are included on 5 pack bolts only. They are 22 inches long. They are fletched with 4 inch vanes.

I don't think these are the Headhunter arrows made for Barnett by Easton.I have a few Headhunter arrows and they seem OK to me, but I would like to kick up the grain a little more.

Thanks for the reply Todd

Todd  the archer:  The Barnett part number for the 515gr bolts is #16109
I see the Eagle Archery also has them. Five bolts package with 125 grain field point, and free shipping, for just under $38.00
I think I best order some. With my Ghost 400 I should get 363.33 fps, with a kinetic energy of 151 ft lbs.
I am still very new to xbows, or anything to do with arrows at all!
