Jeff~ Love the " look" of the new site, but, have one observation. I have been using an Android tablet for the last few months, which frees up the main computer for the wife. Up until this upgrade I had no trouble navigating the site, pulling up different threads, posting.....nothing. SINCE the upgrade I can still navigate the site and do everything EXCEPT post to threads without having a heck of atime and several tries to accomplish same... What changed? Now it seem to be Android unfriendly. Had this happen on another site that upgraded until they figured it out.

As I said love the new site look!!!!

I'm not sure because I never saw what it was like before on the android.  I do have a mobile skin you can switch to which is a very simple form of the site that makes viewing and posting the forum easier on mobile devices.  If you want to try it, at the bottom left hand of the site, click the "change theme" link and choose the IP. Board Mobile.

Glad we got you straightened out.  As far as kicking your wife off the computer, I'll leave that decision to you. :nurse:

When you say "click to go back" what exactly do you mean?  Are you in the PCF room and then hit the back button on your web browser?

When I am done reading the PCF forum or any of the lower forums and click the upper left back arrow , Instead of staying down so I can go on another foruum  like another state forum it will go all the way to the top where the ,new members- forum operations - gear reviews , are... then I have to scroll back down . It never did this before...  Ron

I can't duplicate it from my end.  When I do it, it just keeps me at the bottom of the page.  Anyone else?

Ron,

What browser are you using? If it's Internet Explorer, what version?

Yes. Internet Explorer is the default browser that comes installed with your copy of windows. Unfortunately I am unable to replicate your behavior in all versions of IE (IE6 thru IE9). I did however replicate your specific issue in Google Chrome.

I personally have gotten the best performance out of Firefox on crossbow nation in the past. So it may be a good idea for you to give that a try.

Since the recent updates on CN I have been giving IE9 another try. So far so good.

Sorry I couldn't be any help. But trying Firefox is the best advice I have for you without being able to remote into your machine and see your specific browser settings.

Thanks for your help Buck_Slayer.  I was going to suggest it was the browser.  I have a computer with IE9, and 2 Macs that run Safari and Firefox.  I haven't seen any issues here.  I know that the software I use does not support AOL.  AOL is kind of an outdated browser and does not stay up to date on things like IE, Firefox, Chrome, or Safari.

No probs. Haha this is what I do for a living so sometimes it's hard to get out of "work mode" when I get home. I know all too well the headaches involved with multi browser support when deploying a new product.

I think I figured out. I was able to duplicate the behavior in a windows xp virtual machine using IE8. Running the browser in compatibility mode corrected the issue for me.

I still recommend giving Firefox a try. It's a MUCH better browser experience than IE8 in my opinion. If you're a windows vista/7 user, IE9 is much better than IE8.

Hope this helps.
