Whats the best thing to lube the cams on your xbow with

Whats the best thing to lube your cams with ? Iam a rookie Xbower . I know to wax the bow strings & use rail lube on the barrel. but I dont know if I lube the cams . sorry all my exp. is with firearms

I have been using Rem Oil or WD-40 for decades now with fabulous results...

I don't think the cam's need oil, most all are sealed. But if you do use oil on them be careful and not get it on the string Using Petroleum based oil will ruin a string in a short time. Also oils will attract dust possibly causing premature ware and maybe failure.

Not to mention the scent left on the X-bow by the petroleum jelly. If the deer arn't familiar to the scent it is like someone placed a fresh bushel of apples in a pecan orchard. Like the scent or not the game pretty much figures if it wasn't there durring the summer it shouldn't be there in the fall.
Yes son growing old is mandatory but growing up is still an option.
