In alabama where I hunt there are only 1 or 2 wardens for the whole county. The farmers and locals shoot the deer year round. I know they have to protect their crops but it seems like all the big mature MALE deer are the ones causing all the trouble.

Hunting with someone who thinks everything they have is the best. Everyone else is using junk.

Away from hunting it irritates me when people put there winshield wipers up on there cars in the wintertime.
Wheellie, just curious, why does it irritate you that someone else puts their windshield wipers up in the winter time ?  I do that when I go into work and I know that snow or ice is coming before I am leaving from work. Try it sometime, it works great to help eliminate taring up your wiper blades. Put them back down after your windshield thaws. The blades don't build up ice and snow on them to keep them from working properly.

I absolutely can't stand is when you get animal right activists driving around on ATV's or in SUV's blowing horns, banging drums, making noise, and disturbing the woods just ruin any chance that you might have to havest a deer in state owned woods!!
In some states, if notified the Wildlife Agency will run the fools off.

Leave orange, red&blue ribbons hanging on everyother tree limb.
You'd think they were the only hunters on public land!

Brag how they only shoot "mature deer"...shoot what you want, i don't care but this holier than thou attitude of the trophy hunter makes me want to puke!
Yep, sometimes it makes sense to take a younger smaller deer. Excellent meat, and less poundage to shlepp back to the car.

Another hunter once stole my tree stand. I knew for sure who he was, but could not get him to admit it or find the stand in his possession. ... He should be tied to a fence post and left for the coyotes, after a good whoopin. RANT OVER ......
What goes around comes around. He'll get his due!

My thoughts exactly.  But, watch out for mischievous youngsters that think grab and yank is funny!

Drive or push "hunters".
Two years in a row there were 5-10 "hunters" that would drive deer on the national forest. They would push for a few hundred yards and then move a couple miles down and do it again...every weekend. Apparently they were invisible to the game wardens in the area. Before they started doing this I would see good deer (and a lot of deer) in a couple of different spots, but afterwards only squirrels. It really sucks to put in your prep work just to have your hunt ruined every weekend. It was so bad that now I pay $600 a year to be on a lease.

My biggest problem with hunters here in ny are the ones that call themselves hunters. They pick up their hunting implement and go into the field without any practice or any consideration for the animal they are trying to harvest. Then to top it off you run into these people during hunting season only. Where are they the rest of the year no scouting no practice. Welcome to lazy america
