X-2 Fuzzy. I know the feeling, after all the year round preperation and then to  have somebody move in on you because they know you have done your home work. SUCKS BIG TIME. For me thats a huge part of the hunt is the prep. and looking forward to opening day and dreaming of that buck  that could spring your trap!

Exactly what I was trying to say, thank you.

A buddy of mine brought a guy up hunting to my cabin in PA. We heard a shot early on & heard this guy hooting and hollering that he got one. The rest of us finally got back later to find that he had gone home & left us with the buck unchecked.

My neighbor and his brother draw tags to hunt Oak Ridge, TN. management area almost every year. I went with them one time. The Saturday before the hunt weekend, you can go and scout areas to hunt. Most get there very early, 4 am to be in line when the gates open. There always some who come later to see where the trucks are parked beside the access roads. On hunting weekend, somehow they are first at the gate and go the the previously scouted by other hunters spots. It's happend 4 years in a row for my neighbor. This year, his brother was in his climber and heard another hunter nearby putting up a pop up blind. When it got light enough for the hunter to see out of the blind, they saw the guy in the tree and  hollered and asked, "do you think I'm too close to you"? I told my neighbor hunting buddy those are the reasons I don't put in for a tag.

I agree with all of the feelings above. The thief is my pet peeve. Then ther is the information seeker---- My answer when you ask what did you see-(-I LIE)--I have been seeing only squirrells or I have seen a few doe or I seen a small buck but all were to far for a possibly shot. The lesson that I learned is you are on a need to know basis--especially if all you want from me is information--Do the leg work yourself.

I agree with all of the above including this one which isn't from other hunters. I absolutely can't stand is when you get animal right activists driving around on ATV's or in SUV's blowing horns, banging drums, making noise, and disturbing the woods just ruin any chance that you might have to havest a deer in state owned woods!! Now THAT burns my britches right there!! I understand their stance and their rights as citizen of the US, but when they "exercise" their rights and it infringes upon MY rights, it just makes ya want to call a cop or a game warden to get those people to stop and leave ya the heck alone. GRRRRRRRRRRRR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Why is there enough religion in the world to incite wars and hatred, but not enough to enstill peace and tolerance?

Had the county thief steal my newest trail camera.  If the thug was going to steal one I wished he would have stolen the crummy one that takes pictures of stuff other the game because it reacts too slow.

I hate it when people break club rules, then act like its not a big deal! Also when they make fun of you for working so hard on stand placement and preperation then they want to use your stand!

I'm old so I got a lot of gripes --- I hate when----
Dog hunters turn their dogs loose for practice, beside my truck or where they know I'm hunting, during archery season.
The local deer hunting expert gets off his stand after a full 20 minutes and walks right in front of me --- TWICE.
Road hunters see movement in the woods and send bullets flying, in season and out.
And the best one yet, A guy rides his quad to within 50 yards of my stand, sits on it, pouring coffee from a thermos, and he was bowhunting. Apearently the modern whitetail deer in Arkansas cant see or smell, ROFLMFAO

I seen an earlier post about wasting the animal, as hunters it's a duty to turn in violators.
Wanton waste is a serious issue and to call in a violation does not make you a snitch, it makes you responsible.

When they tresspass. But then again,...there not really hunters.
It's not the kill, but the hunt, where memories are made.

Hunting with someone who thinks everything they have is the best. Everyone else is using junk.

Away from hunting it irritates me when people put there winshield wipers up on there cars in the wintertime.

When you do all the right things, the hours evaluating the land, hours of prep and planning, the washing, the scent drags and the to get out to your stand at 5:00 am.

It's 7:00 am and you see some deer crossing the field  on their run right toward you.

Then you hear a distant crack of a twig. Your heart starts pumping. You take off the safety. Your watch with a eagle eye.

Then to your surprise its just another wanna B hunter in his $500.00 jump suit and carrying a rifle that probably wasn't even sighted in.

Then the AS_H___ walks up to you and asks if you seen anything.

And what really irritates me, is that I don't have the right to make him disapear..
