I was wondering if anybody knows anything about the crossbow speed law in Michigan.I just heard about it today.I was told that any crossbow that's shooting over 350fps. isn't allowed in the woods hunting .

Done away with at the start of last season when they also allowed 10 year-olds and older to hunt with crossbows.

I didn't see any SPEED LIMIT in writing..and my penetrator speed rated 345FPS..So i m safe..And if they take my xbow away that will be excuse for me to buy new one

Thanks for all the up dates,on SPEED KILLS..I'm glad that law was lifted because a lot of my friends have some pretty fast bows...Can't wait to get back to the person who told me about this stupid law...

I like a flat shooter, it is beat for hunting especially in the woods where branches are always in the way.
A safe hunt is a good hunt.
