I transferred my Russian Stout to the secondary fermenter. Upon sampling, it has a nice rich taste, a little hoppy, with a mild banana under-tone(from a special yeast).Very, very good. And, it is already at 7.3% alcohol and still fermenting!
Watch out!

Thanks Unclebuck, I also have an IPA going, that might be bottled next week, it too is a high gravity beer, should end up at about 7.8%. Then there is my wife's wine(she doesn't like beer). That is a White Strawberry Merlot. It's a lot of fun, and fairly easy, if you pay attention to detail. And, I can make premium brew at half the cost, with no preservatives or additives.

Uh, oh, Gimmy. If Dave Hawk sees this he'll be road tripping by Cyclonic's place for sure!
It has been years since I drank any beer, but a couple years ago I got a hankering for the taste of one for some reason. So I decided I would get a six pack, drink one and give the rest to my brother. I wrote about it then and got laughed at, but anyway: I went to Walmart to get it and felt sort of uncomfortable buying it. When I got to the counter with it this young lady informed me she couldn't sell it to me. I thought she was kidding, but turned out it was after 12 PM and it is against the law to sell alcohol on Sunday. HA! I figured that I was being told something and never have bought, or tried to buy, any beer again. I probably never will.
Best wishes on your batch though, Cyclonic!
