Don't loose the extra pressure pad you might need it in the future.
Your actual red dot distance with your bow will vary depending on your arrow weight. I would sight the bow in at 20 yards and then shoot at other distances to determine what your distances your "dots" are equivalent to.

The Predator does not have a anti-dry fire feature in the trigger assembly.
The safety automatically engages when you cock the bow.

Did it change between 2008 & 2009? that would explain the difference. And, no one gives specifications for strings. Guess that's why people make their own.
How do I know I'm getting a string designed for a 2009 Predator?

The Predator string should be 38.5" long. The other length is incorrect.

You can get parts for your RC300 from Don at Crossbow Service Center. The number is (888) 975-0880.
The Barnett site is up. We switched service providers over the weekend. The change was planned.

Realtree has made some changes to their APG camo (which comes on the Predator) for 09. This camo will appear different than the 08 APG patterned Predators.
There are no major changes on the Predator between 08 to 09.

The Panzer we have is just the right size for the kids, so I would like to fix this if possible.
I somehow jammed a bolt into it and broke off the holddown. In looking closely, it is made of spring steel and can't be sodered on. Since the trigger system and hold down are one integrated unit, it looks like a total replacement of the assembly is what is needed.
Can you help suggest what to do?
Thanks very much,
JK

YEARS just to see if the limbs get weaker. He said that it didn't, but I'd like a second opinion. No, I wasn't planning to try it. I just wondered if I sat for hours in a blind or tree stand, with the bow cocked, would the limbs get weaker. Wolfman
