How many people here have a Predator that shoots 375 fps or better?Mine is not but I have read that people are reporting 380-390 fps.The best mine is doing with the Head Hunter bolts & 125 gr field points was 349 avg.The high was 351.These bolts weighted in at 450 gr..My Carbon Epress bolts with 100gr. field points weighing in at 480 gr. are doing 345 avg., high of 347.I would have thought that a bolt weighing 30 gr. more would slow it down more then that.I would like to here from you guys that are shooting bolts at advertisted speed.Don`t get me wrong on this 350 is smokin fast & the accuracy is spot on.I do wonder about the cams because they are sitting different from the left & right.I don`t know if when you look at the left & then the right they should be at the same position or not.Mine are not maybe I should post a pic. so you guys know what I`m talking about.

380-382fps with my Predator CRT it just screeeeams.Carbon Express Maxima Hunter 2" blazer vanes.Cams could be out of time?With the setup Barnett sends you (arrows and field points) you should be just around the 370-375 range.When I can Ill get a video of mine going threw the chrono

I think your right Carl. the cams have to out of timing.I thought it was shooting faster.Maybe I should find a tuner & see what he thinks.

there are a couple guys who have done this (cam timing)or put a twist or 2 in the string to tighten it up for better speeds.I posted a question on this forum to see if someone could post a vid on how to do it.

My predator averages 384 fps with 453g total weight. 2 inch Predator vanes. I'll see what I get this week after I put on my new VIPER X string/cable.

threefletch did ya tightn up the string to get better speeds?Im getting 380fps with the stock Barnett arrows and mine are alittle lighter than what your shooting.

I didn't do anything. That's what it shot out of the box and with Barnett's arrows that came with it. I also shoot Easton power bolt and get the same results. I haven't had a chance to see if there's been any change since I put on  the VIPER X cable/string - but I'll post what I find when I can get to it.

three did you get better results? just curious no bow for me now, going thru withdrawls feel like an addict!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I contacted Barnett about my issues with the Predator & was told to send it to them, but Turkey season is right around the corner so I just can`t part with it now. Its just gonna have to wait til after Turkey season.I mean my bow is shooting slower then advertised but it is still fast.So I`ll send it to Barnett in May & let them look it over & see why its not performing like it should.Other then the scope & the slower speeds the bow is a good one.I`m sure Barnett will resolve the problem & get it back to me.
