I have a Barnett Ghost 400 with a crank and am concerned about the clearance for the crank. The only measurement I can see that would be useful to provide would be the distance from the outer edge of the picatinny rail to the crank handle inside edge. I measured this distance and I have a little bit more than 1" clearance.

If someone knows whether the HHA will work with the Ghost & crank that would be great.

Thanks for any help in advanced.  :)

After looking at this diagram, it looks like the distance involved will be significantly more than 1" and would not work.

The only other option I can see would be to raise the speed dial up higher with a picatinny riser. Perhaps an 1" riser would work. Anyone know what the diameter of the actual dial is?

HH, I use a Snap-On 1/4" drive extension on my TAC 15 crank; it is about 1-1/4" OAL. Never had a problem using it. Poor lighting, but you can see the difference.

Thanks. The thumb is coming along OK. A slow process since it still is swollen. I can use it more and more every day. Still won't bend much. :)

Well, I went ahead & bought the speed dial since the Bay has the lowest price I've seen yet. I figure I'll make it work on my Ghost one way or the other.

Have been reading if I elevate the scope up canting can be a problem. May have to install a bubble level if I go this route.

I have seen some models other than Barnett that mount the HHA base just far enough back to allow the sled to clear the dial. Then they mount the scope as far forward as need. I have done this on Scorpyds and StrykeForces

I received the HHA speed dial in mail and mounted it yesterday evening. Everything works including crank on my Barnett Ghost 400. Actually now the scope mounts forward more and works better for eye-relief for me now. I had to mount the speed dial forward some to get clearance for the crank handle. Still can squeeze my thumb in behind it to release safety. So far all looks good and am quite happy with its quality of construction.

When the weather warms a bit, I will begin sighting in.   Not sure how a 3X magnification scope that comes with the Ghost will do for target shooting at 100 yards. May have to put a variable, say 3x9x40mm rifle scope on it and sight in ranges out past say 60 yards with higher magnification.

For those interested in mounting a HHA Speed Dial on a Barnett Ghost 400 with a hand crank this is what it looks like:

I assume that mounting not flush as recommended with the rear of the picatinny rail that is on the Xbow is not a problem. You can see that the Speed Dial is mounted forward of this by a good bit. The eye-relief works fine. As mounted does not seem to be in the way of anything that I can tell.
