SPECIALIZED, I have that spinal stenosis in my lower back. I had an injection and had the same experience as you: It only worked for about a week. I went back and had a second one a few months later and it did better, so hopefully your second shot will do better this time. I'm due for another one, but been putting it off. I'm sort of tired of getting needle poked all the time. Cancer doc checked my blood last week and they had to stick me several different places before they got any blood. That happens most every time. For a long while I didn't pay much attention to it. You'd think they wouldn't bother me any at all after all this time, but the more I've got stuck over the past few years the more reluctant I am to get it done. I guess my Tuff-o-meter isn't what it used to be. Probably start crying when I just see the needles before long. Maybe if I knew I'd get a lollypop afterwards....
Hankenhunter, I actually call it "feeding the chickens." LOL. Only thing is I have to be careful about that because if I puke up some of my medications it might send them to that big chicken lot in the sky. Actually, I think that may have happened a couple of times. Stupid chickens.
Briarpatch, you are right. I sure am disappointed you are not having any excitement. HA! Actually, that vertebra problem sounds just like the kind of excitement you don't need. But if you get that surgery you can brag about having the same thing done as Peyton Manning. Boy, that would be so exciting you'd be beating the wimmen off you with a stick. Then your wife would beat you with a skillet!
Meat Hunter, sounds like you've been run through the mill. Well, anytime you want feel like jumping in with some conversation you know we'll all be around to holler back. I know when I was unable to hardly walk or do anything at all, this site was real uplifting for me. Still is. Well, except for when Dave Hawk or Sporty87 get on here. They always give me a hard time. And I've never been anything but absolutely nice to them with never a bad comment or making fun of them either. You know, I think they are just jealous of me. I can understand it. Everyone wants to be a Ranger. My wife even married me just so she could be a Ranger too!
Gray Fox, I'm plumb tickled you don't have any ailments. Daggone, it is good to know not everybody is suffering from something. I wouldn't wish my health problems on anybody. Well, except for one I didn't have. Lock Jaw. I have wished that on a few people who couldn't shut up. HA! Hey, the prayers are always good. I appreciate all those I can get.
