After getting my quad about 20 bolts into it the cables started fraying .pretty bad I must say...called Barnett and they sent me new cables..I had BP put them on today ...I noticed after having them put on they were rubbing the bottom of the cable grove..I'm figuring this is where my fraying is coming from ...so sanded down the bottom flat and got all the burs off down to a really slick finsh ..now the cables don't touch the bottom anymore and I'm about 40 bolts in it and I see no sign of fraying at all and my cable slide now moves freely without sticking ...so I'm hoping this has fixed that prob!

Not much pretty much took the camo paint off where it was uneven ..I took a flat file and flattened the bottom out ,.mine had a raised area in the middle of the top and bottom of the glide rail ..after the file I used 80 grit sand paper then 2000 grit and then took an old leather belt and rubbed it glass smooth ...I have shot it I bet 50 times today and have no fray what's so ever....I'm sure that voids my warranty but I figures that was better than having to constantly replace the cables ...one thing I did is made a shim to keep it spread the same as the bow head so that way I could put the cable slide in and out make sure it slid really easy
