Well Corky I finally found the video. I watched it and I am convinced that this is the way to go. I can use it on my bow and crossbow. I ordered the one for bows. I think it works on both from what I saw on the video. Looked like he was using the same one as the vert bow.

Fuzzy,
I'm convinced as well... $114 plus shipping, not bad. The only difference between vert bow and Xbow is that orange strap is several inches shorter for the Xbow. So, buy the Vert bow one and sinch the strap down to fit the Xbow. No big deal.

Let me know how you like it... LOL, if I had more confidence in my mechanical skills, I'd buy now... BTW, I sighted in the 100 gr. Spitfires today, so far, so good! ;-) Gonna try your dental floss tie down method next.

OK XbOWED, you have now costed me the expense of the Night Hawk Bow press. You started this thread and I am blaming you for this one and that is what I am going to tell my wife when she sees the bill for $120.00 for the press and shipping. I will lay some of the blame on Corky, but you did start all this.

Amio... google, You tube Crossbow presses... scroll down the list until you come to Nite Hawk archery... he has vids of pressing verticle bows and then, at the very bottom, a 175 lbs draw Xbow using his portable press... Neat set-up. (For Xbows, 175 lbs is max for this press).

This is the press I use. I will build something if I can before I will buy it. Sorry it took so long to post the picture. I haven't tried it with my Brotherhood but it works like a charm on my Explorer.

If you can't build your own press, there is no better one to be had than the Time Machine.
You will need to ask the owner to add an extra bracket for crossbows if you order one, not a big deal.
It cost around $450.00 but can press any compound or crossbow around.
It is just as good or better than other presses costing twice the price
Here's a video of the Time Machine but its features have been upgraded since.

Scorpyd Crossbows...Nothing else compares !
I'd rather kill with a crossbow than wound with a compound !
"Compound Bowhunters"...Why do you fear the more humane and efficient weapon ?

Got the press yesterday Corky. Looks to be of good quality and craftsmanship. I will try it some day soon and get back to everyone.

Fuzzy, lookin' forward to your review... Hope it works, those others are just too expensive now, especially if you're savin' to upgrade Xbow!
