If she is small framed, you might want to look at a Vixen. Welcome to the Nation!

Hi Welcome to the Crossbow Nation.
I think a Excal Vixen would be a great choice, she would love it.

Have her shoot both of them. Let her decide. If I did not have my Phoenix, I could by happy with a Vixen!

I bought a Pheonix wife couldn't cock with rope cocker. Bought her a Vixen and she can cock this bow and it is a hard hitting weapon.

The Phoenix is easiest - for me - to cock of my three bows, and has the best trigger. But, if you have the slightest doubt, get the Vixen, esp if she like to shoot a lot. BTW the Acu Draw, rotary-handled, ratcheting cocking device marketed by Ten Point, can be installed on solid stocked Excals like the Phoenix.

I too am looking at the Phoenix and Vixen 11. Need to find a place that has both so I can see both side by side and see which one handles the best for me.I know the Vixen 11 has a shorter overall length and shorter length of pull 12.5 to 13.5. Question: Would the 25 lbs difference really be that big of difference? With a cocking string it would only be 12.5 lbs per arm difference but the shorter Vixen may seem easier...Any thoughts?
