Just my opinion, having lived in Texas and shot many, have tried javelina several times, cooked several ways by several people and can truthfully say, it does not taste good to me.lol

Sounds like you need to boil the heck out of them and add something to help remove the musky odor from their glands they have. I hear the glands when squeezed smell like skunk.

Nice pig. Very good video. Something that I would like to do some time. Not a Javelina, but a wild boar. However I hope we never have them in Kentucky.

I never tasted wild boar either. I wonder how it tastes compared to store bought pig?

Does CN do a hunt down there every year?  Whats that cost?

Wife and I are headed to south texas for our anniversary this summer.  We are taking a day to hunt javelina's just east of Laredo.  Neither of us have taken a javelina before, looking foward to it.
