After the season, I'm going to request/buy a new rear stock from Horton -- because:

1. The rubber recoil pad squeaks

2. The Horton sticker crinkles and makes noise

I was told if you removed the sticker that the camo finish might come off.

I'd like to have a stock with no sticker and a SOLID recoil pad!!!!

I really do like the bow -- just not this part!

are you talking about the black sticker with the Horton logo. mine came off easy. try warming the sticker with a hair dryer and go slow pulling it off. rather than changing out the stock call horton and see if they will send you out a new recoil pad or the whole assembley if its not holding the pad on tight. on another note i changed my butt pad out to the small size. it took off a little rear weight and is better in the tree stand especially with winter gear on.

Yeah I have a TRT UL. Heated the sticker up with a hair dryer peeled it off slowly no problem. Lastinline I think I'll try that with the butt pad

you can find the extra pads a little cheaper than buying form Horton searching online.think i paid around 15$. the one that came with your xbow should be the medium size. they also sell a large and a small. ive owned a TRT for 3 seasons. if you need any tips or info just PM me.

Took my sticker off, no problem. I removed the pad completely and put some camo tape on the butt. It seems that the stock fits me better without the butt plate.

dollar: I figured it was held on by a couple of posts. I could probably do it like you did and just go with the solid stock.

THANKS!!
