Here's something I would find interesting to learn about everyone. Why your avatar name? Is there a story behind it?

Actually, my avatar name is LSCHA. But because the lower case L looks like an uppercase i, everyone thinks it is ischa.

First letter of my first name,+ first 4 letters of last name.

And if I ever get anything with my crossbow, I will have a new avatar too!

well, maybe sooner than that.....:D

Yep, I'm with ischa. First letter is the first letter of my first name, next four are the first four letters of my last name.

My avatar photo is a picture of my wife when she first wakes up in the morning. Although I have been told it looks like an Indian.

Due to an injury and PD, I can no longer wander the wild lands in my hunts but have to be limited to the ridge behind camp which overlooks a cedar swamp.

mine is just simply because I love this cat, silent, deadly, beautiful and a successfull. why the Zulu name....because in Zulu tradition this cat is reviered and only the king, chiefs or highly decorated indunas (military/war) chiefs got the honor of wearing leopard pelt. that was in the old days though, unfortunately it has been become commercialized and over hunted.

why guide girl? whats behind your avitar?

When Ohio first opened up the urban deer zones, I just happened to live in one.  I shot a lot of deer every year in the early part of the season.  My buddy from down south nick named me the Urban Legend.

A long time ago when laws weren't enforced too well:D my cousin and I were going bowhunting, we saw a deer along the road and my cousin says shoot it,I did it went right down I grabbed a red baseball bat and hit the deer and threw it in the trunk. When we got to the woods and opened the trunk the deer jumped out and ran across a 40 acre field, for all I know that deer is still running we had quite the giggle's and I became red club.

avatar was a lucky shot, found this beautiful picture of a Caracal and had to use it.

was lucky to have a surname that sounds precious :P first letter of prename plus surname equals username.

now that you know and I'm exposed you may call me "the user formerly known as cingold"...

Well, I'm really known around here as the HOG HUNTER, but that doesn't describe everything I hunt. It's my specialty. My truck even says HOGHUNTER because I get called to do Hog removal on some of the big exotic and whitetail ranches. So, when people saw my truck parked in the field by the road, they would call the landowner but they would say the truck says HOGHUNTER so they would know I was in the field and didn't have to come looking to see who was there and disturb the hunt. I drive the same kind and color of truck as the Game Warden. But, on the internet, people assumed I was a man, and I wanted them to know I was a woman hunter doing what I have done, crediting women for being avid outdoorsmen. Then is when, the truth had to come out in 2005 when I won Huntress of the Year and North American Hunter of the Year. How do you 'spain Huntress of the Year? So then it had to change. So.....

But also, I guided hot and heavy for many years for exotics and whitetail and it seemed the little kids would say I want to hunt with the girl guide. They couldn't remember Ms. Wendy until they had spent alot of time with us. So, I'd get teased  about that, and also called the Gate girl because I'm always having to open gates on ranches. Butch says Go, gate girl, go! I cringe when he says that and laughs.
I quit guiding this past year. I was too burnt out and not hunting myself as much as I wanted, and way, way tired of dealing with doctors who changed their management strategies daily, and over priced the game. The main ranches we guided, the doctor started trying to treat me like an employee, and made the mistake of giving me an ultimatum to bring in another outfitter, if I went hunting New Years weekend and wasn't selling his deer, so I went hunting. He hasn't sold any deer since. Oh well.

Seriously,   a long time ago I saw it used.. written there in some text ...  in reference to my self ..it is a seriously baffling nomenclature and a mystery still...I have tried, and cannot for the life of me figure out how they came up with that... then I started seeing it everywhere.. caught on like wildfire or a conspriacy, actually... started to make me paranoid... so to over come my fears and continue to grow, I just adopted the name as my own and help to spread it...
if anyohne figures it out please tell me.. and if you think I should change it to remain anonymous before someone figures out who I am and I am vulnerable to identity theft, tell me your opinion ..
just cause I am paranoid does not mean they are NOT out to get me..
any and all ideas are appreciated...

I use to cull does at a 2800 acre ranch in llano county after the paid per gun hunters had been a gone for the season. I was able to bring a few buddies with me and we could stay three to four days in a cabin on the ranch . There was a set of radio's there and the ranch owner insisted that everyone carry one when out in the blind. He would here shooting and after it all settled down he would "ping" each radio and ask what ya shot. One year all I shot were pigs, no does, I saw alot antlers but no does but I shot a pig every time I sat in a stand. So , I started to just reply "Black Boar Down" Again ! I shot eight pigs that hunt.
While the rest were skinning and bragging on their kills I was skinning and quartering a boar. Never a sow or a young boar but always a full grown huge ball hanging boar and they were all black as the ace of spades at that ranch and would reak so bad the other guys would stand up wind. For several years that group of guys would email me when it was getting close to the dates we would normally schedule the hunt and start the emails out with "Hey BlackBoarDown"  when do we hunt this year ?  I would get calls and when I woud answer the phone I would here "Hey BBB" what's up . I just took it as is was and kept it as my forum name.
Three years ago that ranch owner , a great friend of mine, caught pneumonia (sp) and died. He was 63 . His wife invited me to hunt the last two years and I did but it never felt good being there without my friend around and this year I didn't inquire about hunting there and wasn't asked. I hadn't missed a hunt on that ranch for 15 years.
I have joined a few hunting forums and have logged on as BlackBoarDown on all. I get to hunt a ranch in Kerr county just to take off the pigs and have become a pig slayer . The property owner wants the pigs gone and I get to hunt so we have a good relationship. In 2008 I took over 60 pigs off that property alone. Now in 2009 the count is 12 and rising. I get to hunt a small property in Williamson county but can only use a bow so i got into crossbows and here I am. Adicted to hunting with a crossbow. As the pig population grows and spreads into neighborhoods I hope to be able to render my swine eliminator skills closer to home and be able to hunt pigs several days a week.

Who knows ?
I clean and process all my kills myself. I make all my own sausage, bratz, bologna, salami, boudin, snack sticks, summer sausage, buck board bacon, pork chops, pork loins, salt cured hams. You name it , if it comes from a pig I process it.
Ask any who knows me, I cook for them all . My annual BBQ will be the third Saturday in June , we always cook a full pig. If you live close to the central Texas area you should put it on your calander and be there. Check my website for details when it get's closer .

boy ! did that get long or what !!!!!!!!!!!!  sorry ..

You're doing "Hog Removal" in the same area as I am. I still waiting for a clue as to which ranch or property you're hunting. I know its in Hunt, TX. I'm working Ingram, TX so we are very close!
